JUNIOR GROUP
COACHING PROGRAMS
We have the unique “6 Phase Junior Group Coaching Program”. There are 6 Phases of junior group coaching, with each phase a progression through the various stages of development. It is set by age, but if your child shows improvement they will be put up to the next stage, giving your child something to aim for! We also offer supervised match play, which is open to any player that can serve and rally at minimum.

PHASE 1. MAD ATHLETES
YOUNG GUNS 4 – 6 YRS
Designed for youngsters to improve hand-eye co-ordination and help develop basic racquet ball skills.
Includes the use of specialized equipment and games to make learning tennis a fun experience.
30/45min. lessons. MAXIMUM 5 PER GROUP

PHASE
2. MAD ATHLETES DEVELOPING GUNS 7 – 9 YRS
A grass roots look at the game covering all areas of play, with a strong emphasis on guiding your child towards competition. Watch them gain confidence & enjoy the game.

PHASE 3.
MAD ATHLETES DEVELOPING GUNS 10 – 12 YRS
Children begin to learn advanced stroke technique. Game based drills are incorporated to help assist them for competition.

PHASE 4.
MAD ATHLETES DEVELOPING GUNS 13 – 15 YRS
Children take a more advanced look at the game, with advanced technical analysis and emphasis on matchplay.

Phase 5. MAD ATHLETES SUPERVISED MATCHPLAY
Designed to compliment coaching sessions. Students are monitored by a coach throughout the session, insuring students develop their game the correct way. Topics covered include strategy, point construction, scoring and more.

PHASE 6.
MAD ATHLETES GUNS (SQUAD)
Specifically designed for players wishing to take their tennis to the next level. Only for the really dedicated player that is willing to sacrifice and give everything required to achieve their goals. *By invitation only.

MAD ATHLETES PRIVATE & SEMI PRIVATE LESSONS
For when you really want to accelerate your game! $60 per hour casual or $50 when term is paid upfront.

TENNIS FOR MUM’S
All mums wishing to learn the game of tennis, or even develop a game they already have. You can join up with a group of friends, or allow us to place you in a fun adult orientated environment. We can design the session with you in mind, with music playing in the background, and certain fitness skills covered that are tailored to your needs. You design the whole program from music type through to shots/fitness disciplines covered.
Sessions go for 1 hour. MAXIMUM 4 PER GROUP

MAD ATHLETES MINI’S 3 – 5 YRS
This program is designed to offer mums the chance to join the “Tennis for Mum’s” program and not have to worry about childcare. We will take your child through the basic skills involved in learning tennis whilst you are having a ball on your own court. Hand eye co-ordination, balance, depth perception, reflexes and more.
(Only available to tennis for mum’s enrolments)

PERSONALISED
TRAINING PROGRAMME
Mad
Athletes will design a programme for the player that
wishes to go all the way with their tennis. Head Coach
Michael Dracos will complete an analysis of the player,
and then design an individual programme with the player’s
needs in mind.
The Programme
can be on a full time or part time basis. Michael also
travels with select students to tournaments managing
their schedule, coaching, scouting of opponents, etc.
